Langtang via Ganja La Pass

The Langtang via Ganja La Pass trek is designed for experienced trekkers seeking a true wilderness challenge. The journey begins with a trek up the magnificent Langtang Valley, admiring peaks like Langtang Lirung and exploring the high-altitude pastures of Kyangjin Gompa. The core of this adventure is the crossing of the formidable Ganja La Pass (5,122m), a rugged, snow-covered saddle that requires basic mountaineering skills and camping equipment, as there are no teahouses in this high-altitude section. The crossing rewards you with unparalleled views of the Langtang and Ganesh Himalayan ranges. Once over the pass, the trail descends steeply into the Helambu region, an area inhabited by the Hyolmo (Sherpa) people, known for their distinct culture and beautiful apple orchards. This trek combines dramatic alpine scenery, a demanding pass crossing, and rich cultural encounters into one unforgettable expedition.
